The rubber shock absorbers for the CaniVTT LINK rod are available in different flexibilities. Included with the ALM LINK bikejöring antenna is a shock absorber with medium hardness.

However, you replace this with a lower or higher hardness. The shock absorber is a wear part that can also deteriorate or wear out over time with more frequent use.

Shock Absorber Flexibility Soft

The high flexibility of the shock absorber allows jerky movements when steering the mountain bike, in case the dog makes unwanted and abrupt changes of direction.

Shock Absorber Medium Flexibility (supplied with the bar)

The shock absorber with medium flexibility is suitable for almost all activities and conditions of use.

Shock Absorber Hard Flexibility

As the flexibility of the shock absorber is reduced by increasing its hardness, this allows unconstrained control of the mountain bike at high speeds on very poor surfaces with a continuous and linear connection to the dog. This type of damper is ideal for intensive use and for competitions on all types of terrain.
